FUN! My goal is to capture you living in the moment, so my sessions involve a lot of silly prompts meant to elicit genuine emotion. The vast majority of my clients have never done a professional photoshoot before and tell me they feel awkward in front of a camera - I know all the tricks to get you out of your head and as comfortable as possible.

After you submit your inquiry, we’ll talk about what date, time, and location you’d like to book and I’ll send you a contract and invoice via email. Payment for portrait sessions is split in half: the first half is due upon signing the contract and the second half (which can be set to autopay) is due the day of your session. Wedding payment schedules are developed individually.

Like most photographers, I do not provide RAW images to my clients for download. The best way to explain the reasoning behind this decision is the analogy of ordering a dish at a restaurant: asking a photographer for their RAWs is like asking a chef to serve you the ingredients of a dish rather than the final product. Most of what you’re investing in when you hire a photographer is the time and education they’ve put into honing their craft and defining their style; unedited images don’t represent our work or ability. Choosing a photographer for your session means you trust in their ability to give you the best results possible in the style of their portfolio - that's exactly what I promise you!

Just let me know, I promise my feelings won’t be hurt :). I do have control over the style of the images, but if there’s something specific you’d like to change about an image I can usually fix it pretty quickly. If you’d like me to change something that affects the majority of a gallery, we can discuss how to improve the images and establish whether additional editing fees may apply.

Cancelations requested more than 48 hours in advance will be refunded in full. In the event of inclement weather, we can reschedule your session and apply your deposit to the new date. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice result in a forfeit of your deposit.

Aside from the editing that makes my images my style (color, tonality, contrast, etc), the session fee also includes basic skin retouching and removal of distracting objects from the background of an image.

During pre-shoot conversations, I'm always happy to give styling advice to make sure you and your loved ones look cohesive and spiffy in front of the camera. I also have a client closet of dresses ranging from size XS-3X that I picked out because I know they photograph beautifully!
