Nothing feels better than a bride referring me to her engaged friend. Last year, I was Casey's best friend Lisbeth's photographer for her backyard wedding - this year, I was Casey's! It was super cool to see a lot of the same people who attended Lisbeth's wedding; their good friend did incredible florals for both events, Caleb was the bartender at Lisbeth's wedding, they had the same bridesmaids, and the list goes on. What a cool thing to have a friendship like that, they're certainly lucky to have found each other!
Casey put so much thought into the little details of her day, from purchasing gorgeous terrarium ring boxes to hand-embellishing her shoes with flowers. She told me the details were the thing she was most excited to have photos of, which made my creative heart very happy! I got to do THREE different flat lays, it felt like Christmas came early. Backyard weddings are so special - all about the family and centered around connection. It was a beautiful day, congrats to the newlyweds!!
